What we disclose

• Affiliate links and commercial relationships that could reasonably affect how a recommendation is perceived.
• Sponsored or gifted products, access, or experiences when they inform coverage.
• Owned products, tools, or sister-publication resources when they are relevant.
• Material context or limitations for firsthand room trials, product use, styling experiments, visits, measurements, or comparisons when needed to understand the conclusion.

Firsthand experience

When we personally test a room decision, product, layout, lighting move, material, plant, storage solution, or styling approach, we distinguish that observation from externally verified facts and professional determinations. Personal experience does not establish structural safety, accessibility, code compliance, universal product performance, or guaranteed results.

Where disclosure appears

A relationship-specific disclosure appears before or beside the affected recommendation, product, resource, or tool result. A site-wide footer disclosure does not replace a disclosure where the relationship matters.

Editorial independence
