This Privacy Policy explains how Room for Drama, published by Northern Lantern House LLC, handles information when you visit dramaroom.blog, contact us, subscribe, purchase a product, or use a Room for Drama tool or application that links to this policy. If a specific application provides a separate privacy notice, that notice controls for that application.

1. Information you choose to provide

You may provide a name, email address, message, correction or accessibility report, subscription preference, account information, purchase information, or answers entered into a Room for Drama tool. Design tools may ask for room dimensions, constraints, preferences, photographs, or project details needed to produce a result.

Please do not submit passwords, full payment-card numbers, government identifiers, exact home-security information, access codes, private documents visible in photographs, or other sensitive information that a feature does not need.

2. Information collected automatically

Our hosting, security, consent, analytics, commerce, and delivery services may receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages requested, timestamps, error information, consent choices, and security events. This information is used to operate, secure, diagnose, measure, and improve the service.

3. Cookies, consent, analytics, advertising, and local storage

Strictly necessary technologies may be used for security, consent choices, sessions, account access, carts, checkout, and requested features. Optional analytics and advertising technologies are controlled through the site’s consent system where required. Room for Drama uses Google services including Site Kit and may use Google AdSense for display advertising. Google and other enabled providers may process identifiers and activity under their own privacy notices.

WooCommerce and payment providers may use necessary cookies when a purchase begins. Some interactive tools may keep working data in the browser rather than sending it to the server; a tool that stores or syncs information beyond the current session should explain that behavior where it occurs.

You can change optional cookie choices at any time using Cookie Settings. You can also manage Google advertising preferences through Google My Ad Center or browser controls. The live cookie register below is generated by the site’s consent system so it can reflect configured services rather than a hand-maintained list.

4. Contact, email, and subscriptions

If you contact Room for Drama or subscribe to email, we use the information you provide to respond, deliver the requested communication, maintain consent and suppression records, prevent abuse, and keep appropriate business records. Marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.

5. Accounts, purchases, and payment

When commerce is enabled, Northern Lantern House LLC is the seller of record. Order records may include what was purchased, price, date, delivery or entitlement status, billing information needed for the transaction, and the email address used at checkout. Payment processing is handled by the provider shown at checkout; Room for Drama does not receive the full payment-card number.

Purchase and accounting records may be retained as required for tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling, licence recovery, refunds, and other legal or operational obligations.

6. Interactive tools and project information

Room for Drama tools are designed to collect only what is reasonably needed for the requested design or planning result. Avoid exact addresses, alarm details, door codes, photographs of private records, or information about valuables. Crop or remove information that is not needed to understand the room.

Tool results are informational and do not replace qualified review for structural, electrical, plumbing, fire, accessibility, code, or other regulated work.

Room for Drama may use display advertising, affiliate links, sponsorships, owned products, embeds, or links to third-party services. Those services may process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Commercial relationships are disclosed where they are relevant to a recommendation; a site-wide policy does not replace a disclosure beside the affected content.

8. How information is used

  • to provide requested pages, tools, products, communications, and support;
  • to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site and applications;
  • to process purchases, delivery, entitlement, recovery, refunds, and accounting;
  • to measure audience and service performance when permitted;
  • to prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
  • to maintain consent, correction, suppression, security, and audit records; and
  • to comply with law and protect rights, safety, privacy, and service integrity.

9. Service providers and sharing

Information may be processed by providers that support hosting, content delivery, security, consent management, analytics, advertising, email, forms, commerce, payment, backups, and application infrastructure. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, investigate abuse, protect rights or safety, or complete a legitimate business transaction with appropriate safeguards.

Room for Drama does not sell personal information as a stand-alone data product. Advertising technology can still involve activity that some privacy laws define as sharing or targeted advertising.

10. Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, security, backups, accounting, consent records, legal obligations, dispute handling, or purchase recovery. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no website, application, or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

11. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent for optional processing. California and other U.S. state laws may also provide rights concerning certain sale, sharing, targeted-advertising, or profiling uses. EEA and UK residents may have additional rights under applicable data-protection law and may complain to the appropriate supervisory authority.

Use the Room for Drama contact page for a privacy request. We may need to verify identity before fulfilling a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right provided by applicable law.

12. Children

Room for Drama is a general-audience design publication and is not directed to children under thirteen. If you believe a child has submitted personal information inappropriately, contact us so it can be reviewed.

13. Changes

We may update this policy as services, site features, or legal requirements change. The effective or last-reviewed date will be updated when the policy changes materially.

14. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, use the Room for Drama contact page or email hello@northernlanternhouse.com.
