The problem
A reach-in closet in a bedroom or spare room holds clothes nobody wears, while a making practice — sewing, paper, yarn, small models — has no home of its own. Every session starts by unpacking onto the bed or the dining table and ends by packing up an unfinished project, so projects stall or stay out for weeks.
What changes after you use it
Give the closet one making practice. Work at the opening, not inside it; store into the depth by how often you reach for things. Carry each project in its own lift-out tray sized to the runner, the table it travels to and two hands through the door swing. Heat and fumes happen outside the closed box. The station is finished only when the doors close flush on it with a project still in progress — and when the clothes that lived there have a named home that is not the bed. It turns the closet's door from an obstacle into the reset mechanism, moves the costly part of a making session (setup and packing-away) into a one-movement tray, and forces the design decisions onto the dimensions that actually fail — door plane, door swing, reach and working position — rather than onto how much storage can be crammed in.
Who it is for
a reach-in closet with hinged doors in a spare room, guest room or bedroom; one repeated, portable making practice — sewing, knitting, paper, drawing, small beadwork, water-based model work; makers who lose sessions to setup and packing-away; households that can edit or relocate the closet's contents to a named place.
Who does not need it
Anyone the free Study already solved; closets that hold or give access to an electrical panel, water heater, boiler, furnace, HVAC equipment, meters, shut-offs or access hatches; walk-in closets and utility or laundry closets (different volumes, different Edits); no clear floor at the door: a bed, desk or route occupies the door swing and the working position; practices that need solvents, aerosols, resins, soldering or heat tools used or cooled inside a closed, unventilated box; the closet is the only storage in the home.

What it cannot do
It gives no universal clearance numbers and makes no structural, electrical, fire, egress, accessibility or code determination; those belong to site-specific authority. Every photograph is a concept visual of an authored room, not a measured site.
