Room for Drama · What is wrong with it
A dark room is not a fault to be corrected. It is a condition, and the only wrong answer is to argue with it in pale paint.

Almost everybody meets a dark room the same way: lighter walls, a bigger mirror, a brighter bulb. Six months later the room is beige and still dark, because the light that was not coming through the window did not start arriving when the wall stopped absorbing it.
So the decision comes before anything is bought. Either you fight it — glazing, borrowed light, a reflective route from a window that exists to a corner that does not — or you join it, and the room becomes a room that is very good after four in the afternoon. Both are legitimate. Only one of them is free. Everything filed here belongs to one of those two arguments.
Same problem, one room at a time. Every one of these is a URL you can keep.

Materials, Color & Finish
A Room Edit for a dark, jewel-lit lounge—where layered lanterns, low conversational seating, saturated textiles, and disciplined shadow turn abundance into intimacy.
Outdoor Rooms
Design outdoor lighting around routes, faces, food, planting, contrast, and atmosphere so the room remains useful and compelling after daylight leaves.
What is wrong with it
Not sure which of these it is? Say it in your own words instead, or read the room properly and let it tell you which one is doing the most damage.
