Name the room, say what it is doing wrong, and tell it how far you are willing to go — that last one matters most, because a great deal of this archive costs nothing to try.

You can read four hundred articles, or you can look at the room.

Filters are good at finding the piece that matches a room you have already diagnosed. They are useless at telling you which of the six things wrong with it is doing the most damage. That is a different instrument, it is free, and it is allowed to tell you to buy nothing yet.
